NC Real Estate Broker Postlicensing class is required for NC Provisional Brokers. 30 Classroom hours, ....Price includes tuition only (Textbook is $50, the same textbook is used for all three NC Post Licensing courses) Download course syllabus
From the NC Real Estate Commission: "Course Description: The Selected Topics Course is one of the three 30-classroom hour mandatory Postlicensing courses that must be completed by newly licensed North Carolina provisional brokers within three years after licensure. The primary objective of the course is to provide instruction at a level beyond that provided in Prelicensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance to licensees. Topics addressed in this course include commercial real estate brokerage, residential property management, land use controls, loan fraud, brokerage compensation issues, license law issues and case studies, selected fair housing issues and case studies, establishing a brokerage firm, manufactured and modular homes, and issues relating to short sales."

Durham's Newest Real Estate School - Next Broker Licensing Class begins Sept 8, 2015

WEICHERT, REALTORS – Mark Thomas Properties is pleased to announce that we are now enrolling students for our September 8, 2015 broker pre-licensing class.

The course consists of instruction in basic real estate principles and practices, including real estate law, financing, brokerage, closing, valuation, management, taxation and real estate mathematics. Also included is instruction on construction, land use, environmental hazards, property insurance, NC real estate law and North Carolina Real Estate Commission Rules. Satisfactory completion of this broker pre-licensing course will qualify the student to take the state real estate licensing examination. Classes will be held at our Durham office on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 10:00 pm.
